On the afternoon of December 17th, Education counselor of Japanese embassy in
China,Rioyokoi and his entourage visited our school.
Vice President Shen
Zhili met with them, introduced education scale, professional characteristics
and international exchanges and cooperation of our school in detail. It was
emphasized that our school would establish Open University during the period of
Thirteen Five-year Plan. And Vice President Shen Zhili hoped this visit can be
opportunity of further expanding intercollegiate friendly cooperation with
Japanese universities. Vice director of International Office Xu Mei and dean of
School of Humanity and Law Guo Tao attended the meeting.
After the meeting,
Rioyokoi made a report about application of study abroad to Japan for our
students. Beijing office staff from Japan's leading institutions, such as
Hitotsubashi University and Kobe University, introduced in detail professional
settings, enrollment of international students and application notes, etc.
After the lecture, counselor Rioyokoi and his entourage also visited
Japanese tea room in our school. Dean of School of Humanity and Law Guo Tao with
Rioyokoi carried on a deep discussion about specific cooperation in the future.
